Hey Sugar!

Mason, Parker, and I went to Nanny's to make sugar cookies. We went there so she could help with Parker while Mason and I did the cookies. We had a lot of fun. I want to make this a tradition for Christmas Eve. The cookies were delicious!

Parker supervised.

Getting started!

My sugar cookie!

He loved cutting out the shapes.

Rollin' 'em out.

Decorating. FUN!

I think Santa Claus was proud of these cookies, I know I was! LOL!

Goat Festival

We went to the Goat Festival in Lewisburg on Saturday. We didn't get there as early as we had hoped too, but we still had a good time. We got to see the Kentucky HeadHunters play.

A little train ride through the festival.

The petting zoo.

Mason sporting his John Deere colors.

Mason's first pony ride. At first he didn't want to let go of me when I went to put him on the horse, but when he did he was riding like a cowboy. We made 2 laps and Mason was done.

Fishing for a prize....

Phil and Parker were there too, along with Nanny, Dakota and Pow Pow.

Corn on the Cob

Mason LOVES corn on the cob! He ate it at Nanny's house about 2 months ago and she used the little "grippe things" that you stick in the side of the cob. Ever since then he can't eat corn on the cob unless he has those "grippe things."

That's a Huge Fish!

We made another trip to the river in Alabama on July 24 & 25. IT WAS HOT!! The motor home had two blowouts on our way there. Luckily, we had several people stop to help, and one man new somebody that owned a tire shop, and was able to have them come out, get the rims, put new tires on and help mount the tires back on the motor home. We sat on the side of the road for over an hour, but it could've been worse. Then we headed on out. Phil did not get to make this trip, since he had to work on Saturday, and we came home on Sunday. We didn't catch many fish on the pole, but A LOT on the trotlines!

Mason loves being on the boat!!

Putting out the trotlines.

Bringing in the trotlines. This is a workout, just ask PowPow!

The catfish were SO BiG, we ran out of room in the livewell and just had to start piling them in the net. We've never caught that size of catfish before on trotlines, it was exciting!

Mason looking like he's about to cry!

Then he decided it was more fun to laugh!
