Evenings Outside

When Mason and I get home in the evenings, I change my clothes and we head right back outside. I think he could spend all day outside. He loves to pick up rocks, sticks and flowers.

"Rock"

"Flower"

He's a busy boy with two lawn mowers.

He has found a love for corn dogs. He can also say, "corndog."
Mason had his 15 month checkup yesterday. He weighed in at 26lbs and 3oz, 33 inches long. He had to get one shot in each arm. He's still in the 90 th percentile for everything. The doctor said start using a regular cup and get rid of the sippy cup. So, we practiced last night and tonight. It looks like it might take a few more times. As far as Mason's vocabulary, I've lost count of how many words he can. He said "butterfly" almost perfect the other morning. Phil and I just looked at each other in amazement. Something else he's caught on too is when we say the blessing before we eat supper. We'll sit down with our food, and Phil will say, "Let's say the blessing," and Mason will hold out his hand for one of us to take in our hand. It is so precious. Then comes "Amen."
Hope everybody has a safe Memorial Day weekend. May we remember the price our veterans and current soldiers have paid. May God bless them.
