Southern Fried Fall Festival

Is this cruel? We got so many comments on Mason's "leash."

We enjoyed an evening around the square on Saturday. We ate some fried food of course and mingled with the public.

GranNanny and Great Granny Rubert also came.

Calm.

Upset. (I was holding his balloon.)

Nice view.

Just of a few pictures of my wonderful family. I am so blessed. Thank you God.

Mason peeking out of tent on Sunday morning, drinking his milk. Boy, does he love milk.

Bath before church. "Mason, show me your lips."

On Monday morning, we had to make a quick trip to the pediatric clinic to make sure the bumps on Mason were not the chicken pox. They weren't. The doctor said it was some kind of reaction to something. I thought he had just got into some chiggers, but his teacher wanted us to be sure it was not chicken pox. It was just another $25 co-pay to their office.
He's still doing really good in the 2 year old class. He seems to be enjoying the art work they do. Usually when I come to pick him up, about 5 kids including Mason are sitting on the couch looking at books. His vocabulary has grown some in the past couple of weeks. He's starting to put 2-3 words together at a time. It's so much fun watching him learn.

Have a great rest of the week. Enjoy this BEAUTIFUL weather!
