Just some things we did......

Mason helped daddy cut out biscuits. He's a big helper! He loves to be a part of whatever you are doing.

All that biscuit making wore him out.

Some daddy and Mason time!

A Valentine card.

A Valentine balloon.

This past Saturday we went to Jackson's 6th birthday party.

Can you guess what he got?

He also got some battery operated hamsters. Jackson's mom said,"You take care of them just like real hamsters, AND you can put clothes on them." I think Mason was more intrigued then Jackson.

Me and Cassie (Jackson's mom.) We were the same shirt and didn't even call each other.

Church was called off on Sunday due to the snow. Mason and I stayed indoors all days, while Phil worked in the shop.

His masterpiece!

We played in the snow for about 20 minutes when we got home this evening. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of snow! It's enough already!

"Catch some snow Mason."
My little man! There's no greater blessing, than being a parent! No doubt, there are some rough/tiring times with a newborn/toddler, but when I say, "I love you Mason," and he returns with, "I love you momma," NOTHING ELSE MATTERS! You know they love you, but to hear them say it is a feeling like no other. (I'm tearing up as I write this!)

I think that about gets us caught up.
I had a doctor appointment last Tuesday. They didn't do much, mainly just got the paper work started, and drew some blood. Sunday marked the first day of my 8th week. It's pretty much been the same as the first pregnancy, except I'm keeping the nausea/"I don't feel good" feeling most of the day, where as last time it went away after I ate breakfast. I am thankful that I still don't have morning sickness! Oh, and the fatigue is terrible! I hope this all passes once I'm out of the first trimester.

More Snow....

We wanted to build a snowman, but the sheet of ice on top of the snow kept us from doing that. We took a few pictures and headed back in. Phil made some home-made hot cocoa. It was delicious.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

Took the test on Tuesday! Doctor appointment on Feb. 9. Should be due around Sept. 27.
We are excited! I'm a little nervous about having two little ones, but we'll manage with a lot of help from the grandparents. (hint, hint to Nanny and Nana. lol)

Snow

Phil picked me up from work at 12:30, then we got Mason from daycare. We didn't get home until 1:20. The traffic in town was terrible. We had intentions on playing in the snow, but Mason has been coughing all week, so we didn't want to make him worse. We hope to get out in it tomorrow, if only for a few minutes.

This is something you don't see a lot of in our part of the woods.

Our dogs may have had to much fun.

Nana and Papa came over to eat some Taco Soup tonight. I mixed spices together to create the taco taste because I did not have a packet of taco seasoning. Let's just say, I may have over done the red crushed pepper. The soup was good, but had a KICK to it. I don't normally do a lot with spices, but now I know that red pepper is SPICY!

Hope everyone had a fun snow day!

A Few of Us

"Giddy up, daddy!"

Our favorite time of the day. "Read book, momma, this book!"

He loves Mickey Mouse. It's the only show he will actually stop and watch.

Phil and I think he's going to be a stunt double when he grows up. He's not scared to try anything.

Good news this week: Mason has used his potty the past two mornings. Yay!! As soon as he gets up, we take him straight to the potty. He gets more surprised when the music plays than we do. I try to make a big deal about, like a pee pee dance, clapping, and singing. He looks at me like I've gone crazy! But I don't care as long as he uses the potty.
Mason turned 23 months old today. One month away from turning the BIG 2!
Have a blessed day!

Ahh, the Good Life!

Has it really been over two weeks since the last post? I've been to busy to notice. To be honest, I haven't taken that many pictures. I don't know what's wrong with me.

I have entered a contest at work called, "Fittest of the Fit." I hope this is the motivation I need to start exercising again and lose some weight. I had my weigh in on Monday and the last weigh in is April 12. So, I've got to get myself in gear if I want to win the money or some prizes! They are giving us limited, free access to Harvey's gym, the YMCA, and Curves. I plan on taking advantage of this. Last week I started getting up at 5:15 to do a 25 minute, aerobic video. My plans are to do aerobic during the week and walk/run on the weekends. Wish me luck!

Mason has been his regular bundle of energy. He has become quite the little show off. He loves for people to laugh at him. And the talking, he can say so much these days. It's absolutely precious. Still trying to figure out this potty training stuff. Some days Mason seems interested in using the potty, then other days he ignores it.

Other wise Phil, Mason and I are enjoying the Good Life. We are so blessed! God is Good!
