Just some things we did......

Mason helped daddy cut out biscuits. He's a big helper! He loves to be a part of whatever you are doing.

All that biscuit making wore him out.

Some daddy and Mason time!

A Valentine card.

A Valentine balloon.

This past Saturday we went to Jackson's 6th birthday party.

Can you guess what he got?

He also got some battery operated hamsters. Jackson's mom said,"You take care of them just like real hamsters, AND you can put clothes on them." I think Mason was more intrigued then Jackson.

Me and Cassie (Jackson's mom.) We were the same shirt and didn't even call each other.

Church was called off on Sunday due to the snow. Mason and I stayed indoors all days, while Phil worked in the shop.

His masterpiece!

We played in the snow for about 20 minutes when we got home this evening. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of snow! It's enough already!

"Catch some snow Mason."
My little man! There's no greater blessing, than being a parent! No doubt, there are some rough/tiring times with a newborn/toddler, but when I say, "I love you Mason," and he returns with, "I love you momma," NOTHING ELSE MATTERS! You know they love you, but to hear them say it is a feeling like no other. (I'm tearing up as I write this!)

I think that about gets us caught up.
I had a doctor appointment last Tuesday. They didn't do much, mainly just got the paper work started, and drew some blood. Sunday marked the first day of my 8th week. It's pretty much been the same as the first pregnancy, except I'm keeping the nausea/"I don't feel good" feeling most of the day, where as last time it went away after I ate breakfast. I am thankful that I still don't have morning sickness! Oh, and the fatigue is terrible! I hope this all passes once I'm out of the first trimester.

A Little Party

We had a small Halloween party on Saturday night, plus a hayride.

Thanks, everyone who came out and enjoyed some chili and desserts.

Dakota's 8th Birthday Party

Dakota actually turned 8 on May 3rd, but we had his party yesterday.

Check out his cake. GranNanny made this herself. I'm still not sure why none of her cooking talents passed down to me.

The birthday boy!

Cory, Jackson, Justis, Dakota

"Aunt" Cassie and Mason

Mason is really into playing peek-a-bo. He'll pretty much hide behind anything.

"Where did Mason go?"

"There is he is!"

That cupcake sure was good.

Intake

Exhaust

Some of the guests.

Justis, Corey, and Colton helping Dakota with his presents.

Mason made a new friend, Jackson. Jackson and Colton(previous picture) are new neighbors to my parents. Jackson is 10 days older than Mason.

Take turns.

Too cute. You never know what the little ones are going to do.

Water gun fight. Corey, Curtis, Dakota, Justis.

Since Mason couldn't shoot a gun, he was satisfied just playing in the bucket of water.

Baylee, Mason, Dakota, Cayden.

Heather and Mason.

This picture brings tears to my eyes. This is why I love photography to capture pure moments like these. Mason and his Great Grandfather.

Mason, Aunt Debbie, Great Granny Rubert, Nikki.

Mason with Great Paw-Paw and Great Granny Pullen.

Mason with his GranNanny.

Mason and Mommy.

I wanted to get a quick picture of my dearest friend and her boys with me and my boy.

Dakota, hope you had a blast at your 8th birthday party. Sissy loves you!
(You maybe asking, "Where is Phil?" He had to work.)

The Pumpkin Patch

If you couldn't tell where we went, here it is.

Mason, Dakota, and I meet Cassie, Jackson, and Cayden at their house in Lynnville to make a visit to the Pumpkin Patch. This was my first visit and I would encourage anybody to go. It was so much fun. The country atmosphere, hay ride, train rides, pumpkins, mums, corn stalks, animals, popcorn and cold drinks. You just can't get much more relaxed than that.

Cassie and I were on our toes keeping up with boys, more so Cassie than me, because of course I was taking pictures of Mason.

"Baby's First Halloween"

A caged in hayride. No worries.

I haven't had much experience photographing children except for Dakota and now Mason, but I've never photographed two at a time. Cassie wanted a good fall picture of her two boys to send out some Halloween cards. I sure tried, but they were so distracted by everything that was going on it was impossible to get them both with a smile. They weren't worried about taking pictures, there was just to much ground to be covered. They all had so much fun. Here's a few of Jackson and Cayden.

"This is one of my favorites."

Mason tried to eat several leaves and sticks, but mommy spoiled the fun.

Thanks again Cassie and boys for a fun afternoon. (And supper.)

One more bit of news, Mason pulled himself up for the first time last night on a cardboard box full of his baby food jars. I didn't get to see him actually do it, because Phil yelled, "Brandie, " so when I looked he was already standing. I was so amazed, I couldn't move. I thought about the camera then the video camera. I didn't know which one to get. Well, by the time I got one of them he had sat back down. I know this is only the beginning of another milestone. Also, he maybe getting some toofers pretty soon, it looks like one is trying to break through on the bottom.

We will be leaving for Myrtle Beach on Saturday for a week. So, don't get worried if you don't hear from us. Keep us in your prayers for safe traveling. I will be driving me and Mason in the X-terra for the first 4 to 5 hours, because Phil has to take the Williamsport fire truck to a place in Georgia, and then pick it up when we come back through. I'm not a big fan of driving on the interstate.

Hope everyone has a great week.
